The European Airway Management Society (EAMS) was established in 2003 and since 2009 the annual EAMS "Hands on Airway Workshop" has been organized as a 1 day pre Congress workshop prior to the Annual Meeting of the EAS .

The EAMS is a growing society with committees on teaching , Science committee, Airway Management Special Circumstances committee and others.
Thus this is a fully functional Society with a prospect of a strong future influencing the profession going forward.
